Suplication by Samuel Lewkowicz, a rabbi of Krakow and Sandomierz

Samuel Lewkowicz (Dawid Szmelka) informs that he is sending his son who is to give a verbal explanation of all the matters, and asks for further protection and defense against the Jews from Lithuania [the Ickowicz family, who want to deprive him of rabbinical office, therefore he asks that mandates be sent to the land elders to stop them from any actions against him until he is able to stand together with them before the Voivode of Sandomierz.
